But then you toss in the whole thing about how Disney/Marvel are seriously trying to push this as a replacement for the X-Men and my opinion goes from confusion to contempt. Wouldn't have mattered how good the critic or public's scores were, my interest was already beyond dead and buried.

This. I don't think it's flawless (the sheer emphasis on teamwork and inability to truly carry means random queuing is an exercise in insanity), but it's the only one that I've found basically fun enough to keep playing.

Admittedly, I *do* play another MOBA in the form of Smite.

As much as League and Dota brought about the genre and continue to be the flagship titles of it, I find the MOBAs I tolerate and enjoy the most are the ones that don't play "traditionally" as it were. I mean, sure, Smite *can* be played like a typical MOBA in certain modes, but then I rarely play those modes for that exact reason.

It's violence not murder.

If women are equal why is it fine for men to fight each other but a man hitting a woman is outrageous?

Unless it's an organized fight, a man fighting a man is also called assault. What a dumb post.

Yea but they both get charged and it's pretty socially acceptable. It's certainly not outrageous even when one man is much larger/stronger than the other.

Man has been fighting man for an eternity. If man was beating up a puppy, people would have an issue with it also. It still doesn't go unpunished, but it's so much more common that society is more desensitized.

Growing up, my dad taught me to never hit a woman under any circumstance. He also taught me to stand up for myself if another male was bullying me. There is a definitive divide. Women are to be respected, period. It's part of the long foundations of humanity.

Eh, my mom taught me that it doesn't matter what gender the other person is, if they get physically violent then you retaliate with equal force.

Pretty much this.

I have 650 hours myself, and the grand bulk of that was just from fiddling around with different mods, and I didn't even get to try out everything I had my eye on before Skyrim Special Edition came out. (To which I fully plan on replacing Oldrim with SSE and continue fucking around.)

Of all the mods I've installed, I'd say "Alternate Start - Live Another Life" by Arthmoor had the biggest impact on my willingness to start the game over and over so many times, even if it was for limited bursts where I didn't completely finish the run per say but rather I just spent hours (dozens at a time even) playing up whatever alternate start I went with and carving a path with various little rules in mind to create my own fun.

Fox having the film rights to X-Men and F4 also affects which characters Marvel can and cannot use in the MCU.

Not just the MCU either, it affects who they can use across *all* media. It's the reason F4 and X-Men were excluded from the most recent Marvel vs. Capcom, or why the F4 were purged from Marvel Heroes, with the ever-looming concern that Disney might very well tell them to remove the X-Men at any point.

It's one thing that they removed 5 heroes out of 63, but if they purged the X-Men (and other relating characters) they would have to remove *20* of the remaining 58. That would probably be a death knell for most of the player-base (I know I sure as hell would quit), surely it would be too foolish a move, but then people didn't think Disney would actually remove the F4, and not only did they axe them short-notice but Silver Surfer was added onto the list of causalities.

It's going to harm the population rates is more like it.

I hardly see the issue, most of the guys who would buy something like this were never going to be in a position to reproduce anyway, and the ones who can manage to attract women on a regular basis were already prone to taking every contraceptive measure available to them. This is on top of the fact that the planet is over-crowded anyway.

Consider as well that the advent of robot compansionship comes hand-in-hand with the boom of automation. In other words, there's going to be a whole mess of people out there that can only barely afford to take care of themselves, much less dependents, thus making it economically sound for them to remain unwed and childless. Eventually having a robot-wife/husband will be within the same "anyone can afford one" price bracket of smartphones today. Bonus points: The ones most likely affected by automation? Why, it's the lower class that people are always complaining about making "too many" babies anyway.

The more likely scenario is that the men who already have tons of women lining up for them are going to see inflation in their de-facto harems, while the women who were already thirsty for men to settle down with are going to see what a real drought looks like. For the men deemed undesirable to begin with, and the women who got filtered out due to excess stock, they'll have artificial options for companionship if they choose to pursue them.

The only reason I don't wear shirts like that *right now* is because I can't afford them. Whether it's getting them pre-made from certain anime merch retailers or having them made to order from places that take printing requests, that kind of thing can be pricey, and said cost only ramps up the more shirts you throw into the cart.

Obviously with 50 million bucks that ceases to be an issue.

Guys with small dicks by a massive (ha) degree, it's not even a contest.

Not only are small tits considered perfectly acceptable in most circles, but there's an entire kink/fetish surrounding it. Meanwhile guys with small dicks are just considered absolute laughing stocks to the extent I've seen people straight up tell dudes with small ones to kill themselves (and they catch zero flak for doing this I might add, quite the contrary, other guys in particular are real quick to pile it on) because the odds that they'll ever have sex is less than zero, partially because women don't want none of that, but partially because some of them are legit mortified about their possible sons inheriting such genetics.

Seriously, I can not stress how fucking brutal men and women alike are about small dicks, right down to knowing two guys who attempted suicide over it. One of them succeeded, and the other eventually went trans because he wanted to get rid of what he had *that badly*.

But like the other user said before, for someone to see your dick they'd have to get to the point where they see you partial naked so you're probably already receiving some action. Someone could feasibly hide it easier than someone could hide small tits.

I also don't think that "kink" is as common as some people here think, and surely not strong enough to get the person hitched over that one quirk.

And you'd be wrong, plenty of women have bailed on guys after they found out "too late" they had a small dick. Some of them have even legit raged at the guy for "deceiving" them (because apparently this was information he should have given her beforehand) and then made it a point to let *everyone* they know find out about his size too, just to embarrass the guy further and ward off other women ahead of time.

Meanwhile "petite" chicks are hardly just an internet-only fetish, hell, there's been entire movements centered around how "any size" women can be attractive and that it's somehow taboo to turn them down. Unsurprisingly, there's no such thing for "any size" men, quite the opposite actually, it's considered perfectly acceptable to mock guys with small dicks (and/or short heights), in public and on social media.

The Catgirl Fondler
08/10/17 3:06:12 AM

Eh, not my fault most games give female characters the superior custom options. Seriously, there's MMOs out there where the male versions of some races are just absolute messes. And that's just at creation, once in-game, take a wild guess which gender gets the lion's share of unique outfits while still being able to use anything else they want. For sheer volume of total available aesthetics and cosmetics, female characters win every time.

Given how many RPGs ultimately turn into "collect all the things" and how that process can take weeks if not months on top of everything else the game might offer, you're damn right I'm going to want to use something that's nice to look at *and* can actually use everything I find. It only gets worse when you bring gender-locked classes or races into play, because now one's decision has little to do with eye candy, it will actually have an impact on gameplay from what role you can perform or racial traits.

Same thing applies to other genres of online games where you don't "create" so much as "choose" your character and depending on meta or team composition, certain female characters are ideal for a match. Unsurprisingly, most female characters in these same games also tend to get more and/or better unlockable skins.

I can't have back the old guard. Age has claimed one and so their character won't be coming back for obvious reasons, another desperately wanted their character killed off (to the extent that it's probably the only reason they came back to do this movie at all), and the last ended up a no-show this time around, will likely be useless in the next one due to power creep, and dead by the finale either because the plot calls for it or because their actor also wants to abandon ship by that point (given their comments about Episode 8 so far).

I don't give a solid fuck about the new guard, especially the Force users, and especially the Anakin 2.0.

Hell, I'm at a loss about Star Wars in general.

Lucas fucked up the movies.
Various writers fucked up the books.
EA/Bioware fucked up the games.
And Disney didn't end up being the cleanser I hoped it would be, given the state of their own trilogy already or how they've yet to do anything with their new EU that I care to see.

At this point I'm starting to regret I ever got into this franchise, there's nothing left to enjoy, not even the original trilogy walked away unscathed.

Amusingly, I bet if you swapped the genders in the story, some of the same people defending the woman and bashing the man would ...still be defending the woman and bashing the man even though having a penis does not make someone instantly invulnerable to assault/robbery/death. Now if the folks supporting her precautions are just peachy-keen on guys doing it too, alright then, props for consistency at least.

Personally I think it would be a bit *too* paranoid and end up ruining the tone of the date if the first thing one party assumes of the other is "yep, they're totally going to ravage my hole/pole, steal my organs, and take my wallet/purse". Like, at that point it would just be quicker and less expensive for both people to cancel the whole outing if trust and safety levels are already in the gutter.

It might not have been the entire server per say, but certainly a sizable majority of it, and all somehow congregating around the same level-range where forced-grouping starts and de-leveling can happen. (So around level 10 I think?) If there were any decent people, they were somewhere else in the game world and I never met any.

And I only started copping an attitude towards others in my final days of the game, because at that point I was fed up and didn't give a shit anymore, I was going to give as "good" as I got. These days in other MMOs I just try to avoid dealing with other people beyond the bare minimum that some small-scale group content requires and tend to forget that the chatbox even exists until a queue pops. About the only other community function I utilize is the auction houses, but it's easy enough to keep your head down, do your business, and never have to directly interact with another soul.

If other people got something out of these communities (FFXI, WoW, or otherwise), good for them, but for me the socialization aspect is something I don't care to deal with anymore, not even friend lists and guilds. I just try not to bother nobody and hope nobody comes bothering me.

Nope I was there from Day 1, played for a couple years. Quit for a while and came back for a little bit.

Community was fantastic. Was in a few different LS, everyone was super friendly, super helpful. Sometimes I felt bad asking people for help with certain things because they were huge time sinks. But they didn't mind at all, they would come through and help you complete things through no benefit to themselves.

You were on a different server then, because the only people I ever dealt with were trolls and elitists.
+++

Like I said earlier. It definitely sounds like the problem is you. You sound like a pretty miserable person.

And like I said earlier, my opinion of grouping was *caused* by FFXI, it's not like I held a negative opinion of online multiplayer before then. How could I? I had literally never done something like it before, if anything I was fucking confused at first as to why I was dealing with an endless stream of assholes because that's not at all what I was expecting, and it was only after enduring it for a month that I considered the community rancid.

Even with WoW and every other MMO I've played, assholes are still present and accounted for in abundance (it's similarly why I laugh at claims that Vanilla WoW "had a better community back then" because I was there, and I know better), so it's silly that you're even trying to pretend that they somehow never found their way to FFXI. The only difference now is that I can minimize how much I have to deal with them in most other MMOs, whereas FFXI forced me to eat their shit daily until I finally quit.

FFXI had an absolutely fantastic community full of really helpful and cool people.

Tch, the community was a cesspool when I tried it out. It's why the whole "get a static/join a Linkshell" advice I got back then was a moot point, because there wasn't anyone worth dealing with by the time I was being prompted to subscribe to continue. Like hell I was putting anymore money into it beyond the box cost.

I can only figure your experience was different because you either:

A. Played on a different server then I did. Not that I can remember which one I ended up on now, though it was definitely not a EU or JPN server.
B. You joined the game much later on. I played it mere months after release, so this was pretty much Vanilla FFXI and where everything was still somewhat fresh and new.

Subsequently, I have yet to even touch FFXIV, despite claims that the game is "nothing like FFXI" or how it has an indefinite trial period now (so I'd lose nothing for trying it out). One has to try really friggin' hard to get me to avoid something with playable catgirls, but Square somehow managed to do it (twice even).

Suffice to say, FFXI was about the worst first MMO experience I could have asked for, to the extent I almost swore off the entire genre right there when I played it way back then.

It's not my fault that FFXI had shitty forced-grouping for *everything* and an even shittier community, it's not even like I hated grouping from the get-go, but rather it was FFXI that made me hate it after I ended up spending my entire free month trapped in some early game hub region (Jeuno I think it was called) due to the endless spiral of death, disband, delevel *assuming* I even got to play that day due to the all-day waiting to get a group even formed. Didn't even matter what job I was, I was going to be LFG for hours only to end up wiping minutes later.

At least World of Warcraft (the second MMO I tried) let me do something, *anything* other then being handcuffed to others for 99% of the game even if grouping was still a big part of the overall content. Hell, I at least got far enough to *try* dungeons and raids in that game (even if raiding wasn't my bag in the end), and I found PVP battlegrounds tolerable enough, which in turn is probably why I find MOBAs/class shooters more viable as multiplayer options as well, there's just something about group PVP which I find manageable despite any frustrating moments while group PVE is obnoxious even when things (finally) go smoothly.

Which only adds to the irony that when I first jumped into MMOs, I thought I would love playing cooperatively with others and hated competition of any kind and yet it ended up being the exact opposite. Mind you, I'm not at all suggesting that "PVP > PVE" in the general sense, rather I just personally enjoyed one over the other. Frankly I never got PVPers who felt the need to mock or insult PVErs, and even I don't care to play games/servers with open world PVP as there's no sport in it whether you're the ganker or the ganked. (Incidentally, it's the same reason I've avoided "sandbox" MMOs like the plague because I *know* all-day ganking/full-looting is the only thing that happens in those games.)

Typically the social aspect makes it worth it.

Amusingly, the aspect I dislike most about MMOs is the actual "multiplayer" part, I hate having to rely on other people or for them to rely on me in order to get anything done.

I'd wake up confused.

Yeah, this.

The scenario is so beyond the realm of possibility I can't even comprehend humoring it.

Dude, they use their tongues for this kind of thing, did you ever stop to think about how nightmarish your arm and the act looks from their point of view? There's just this noodle-like, hairy appendage with wiggling things on the end fiercely gripped to your tender bits like some tendril from a long-forgotten abyss, and you're not even looking down while it moves and breaths its will upon your mortal flesh. I can't even begin imagine what unearthly sounds you make during the act either.

Human masturbation is probably like watching an eldritch abomination manifesting its self in the material plane from a dogs perspective. Some really self-lovecraft shit up in here.

I've tried posting more ass pics but for some reason there's way more "sfw" boob pics than ass pics

I figure that's because for some ass pic artists the temptation is too great to just go through with some cameltoe (especially if the gal was practically wearing nothing down there anyway), whereas not all of the boob pic artists care to add in detailed nipples.

Subsequently, it's easy to tell if a boob pic is gonna cross the line because detailed nipples are pretty obvious, whereas there's already been a few cases of people having to preface their image dumps with "it's just a crease/seam in her clothes" and then hoping the mod believes them instead of thinking that cameltoe got posted. (IE: Even when an ass pic is absolutely SFW, you can't trust the mods to think first, delete second.)
